Changing format of center page content

I’m trying to edit the text that comes up on the center page so that I can bold/italic or space the wording. Is there a plugin for this or do I have to put code somewhere? I’ve tried adding it in the excerpt but I still can’t format the text. 

I’m also trying to remove the comments icon and reference to it on the pages, and instead have the number of views. Am I able to do this?

I’m new to this theme and finding it a bit tricky!!

    Hi!

    If you can share your url, i can help you out better.

    By bolding / italic content i don’t know if you are talking about content coming on home page or inside the posts. Inside the posts you need to do within the article itself using wordpress editor.

    If you want on the home page, you can have the entire para bolded /italic etc using css but having only few lines bold or italic is not possible.

    Regarding references and comments, i believe you are trying to use disqus. Please go to disqus Appearance settings and change 0 Comments to 0 and so on. You will have to disable Reactions in Disqus General Settings.

    If you are trying to remove comments and replace with number of views… it can be done.. However, you need to know some css to do that. You can find comments on all php pages and replace with your view code.

    I’m not sure that I am using disqus or where to find it? 

    So I would have to put the number of views instead of comments on every php file?! Or just certain pages? Also, I’m using the number of view plugin so what snippet of code would be needed to be inserted?

    Hello
    For changing comments to views, you will have to change in lot of files including single.php, index.php, sidebar.php and many internal files in includes folder.
    Simply do editing in 1 file.. make it work and then search that code in entire folder and replace it with your working code.
